Privacy Policy

How Anythings handles your data — in plain English.

Last updated June 14, 2026

1. What we collect

  • Account info: your email, and the name and context you choose to share.
  • Your content: the captures, tasks, and priorities you create.
  • Usage data: basic, privacy-respecting information about how the app is used so we can keep it working and improve it.
  • Billing: if you upgrade, payment is handled by Stripe — we never see or store your full card details.

2. How we use it

To run the core product: turn your input into a prioritized list, learn what matters to you, sync across your devices, and provide support. We use your content to operate the Service for you — not to build advertising profiles.

3. AI processing

When you capture something, its text, images, and documents are sent to Anthropic (Claude) to extract and rank your tasks. If you submit a voice memo or audio file, it’s sent to OpenAI (Whisper) to transcribe it into text. These are our AI subprocessors; your content is processed only to generate your result, and we don’t use it to train third-party models.

4. Where it lives

Your data is stored with our infrastructure provider (Supabase) and protected by row-level security so only you can access your account’s data. We use reasonable safeguards to protect it.

5. Sharing

We don’t sell your data. We share it only with the service providers that make Anythings work (e.g. Supabase for storage, Anthropic and OpenAI for AI processing, Stripe for payments), or when required by law.

6. Your choices

You can edit your profile and permanently delete your account at any time from Settings. Deleting your account removes your content from our systems.

7. Retention

We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete your content (backups age out on a rolling basis).

8. Children

Anythings isn’t directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their data.

9. Changes

We’ll post any updates to this policy here with a new date and flag material changes.
